Menopause Duration Menopause And Duration?

Menopause and duration? - menopause duration

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2004, and also by my doctor that I had been informed perimenopause. My periods were irregular in time, then stopped completely in September 2005. I had no symptoms to speak of except for some minor waves. My question is that I went through the menopause or just that I'm not sure. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Menopause is a very individual process. Some women have no symptoms, while others may have five years or more. During menopause a woman's body produces less estrogen and progesterone. May occur between the ages of 45 and 55 years for pre-menopausal women:

* Changes in menstrual periods - changes in the rate or amount of time between the times.
* Sometimes hot flushes or hot flashes - sudden and intense heat in the face, neck and chest.
* Can cause night sweats and sleep disturbances, feelings of fatigue, stress or tension.
* Vaginal changes - the vagina may be dry and thin, for some women sex can be painful.
* The cause thinning of the bones, height loss and bone fractures (osteoporosis) can.

A woman in menopause, if they do not have a period of 12 months in a row. For some women, hot flashes seem to never disappear, but another 10% of the young, women before menopause are at hot flashes.

Part of the problem orf sinks can then easily know more about the benefits, especially if you were frequently through the hard part of menopause as hot flashes. And certainly, our American culture stirs us a sign of growing anxiety.

There are other causes of hot flashes, too, including certain medications, infections, and hyperthyroidism. If you are other symptoms that are not typical of menopause, you can discuss with your doctor.
